Madame Cholet's Mince Pies Ingredients: 12 oz self-raising flour 6 oz margarine 4 oz muscovado sugar 2 eggs pinch of salt 1 jar mincemeat
Method: Mix all the ingredients (except the mincemeat) together in a bowl. Roll out the pastry VERY THINLY, and cut into mince pie shapes. Add mincemeat and lids, and brush with milk. This should make 25-30. Cook in the oven for only 10-12 minutes, until the pastry just starts to turn brown. Leave to cool in the tray. |
