Ravishing Rice Ingredients: Brown basmati rice Quinoa Vegetable stock (stock cube, vecon, buillon) Tumeric
Method: Measure out the rice and quinoa - 1/3 mug of quinoa plus 2/3 mug rice makes 3 servings. Use a non-stick pan with a lid. Add 1.5 mugs of water for each mug of rice/quinoa. Add vegetable stock and a teaspoon of tumeric. With pan lid on, bring to boil and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, until water is almost gone and rice is getting soft. Add more water if necessary. Take lid off for last couple of minutes to dry off the rice. |
